 Box Tops.  

 

The gathering starts now and runs until December 16th. 

 

Each week the PTA will pick up each classroom's Box Tops, count and graph them. 

 

The graph is displayed under the TV by the office and will also be kept up to date on here!

 

The class with the most turned in will win a PIZZA PARTY!!

Hi, my name is Christina Foos. This is my 3rd year at Bar Nunn. Some of my favorites are: the color purple, pizza, Mexican food, and ice cream. I also like to go camping, and taking in a good movie. Welcome Back!  My name is Cindy Repaski.   This is my 21st year of providing social work/counseling services in the school district.  Some of my favorite things are the color red, Taco Bell, golden retrievers and basset hounds, and spending time with Bar Nunn students.    In my free time I enjoy knitting, spinning wool, and I have just started learning how to weave.  This summer I visited plantations and the Slave Market in Charleston, South Carolina.   If you get a chance, come visit with me!  I can't wait to meet you! ~ picture courtesy of terriesplace.co.uk

Hi, my name is Tabitha Siemens. This will be my first year as an Educational Support Personnel.  I would like to share a few things about myself with you.  I recently was told that glitter isn't a color so my next favorite color is orange.  I love, love, love my coffee and Pepsi (no Coke for this girl).  I really enjoy playing sports, especially volleyball, even though sometimes I look silly (or so I've been told).  This summer I had a blast visiting my  friends and family and going to the zoo.  I am very excited to get to meet each of you and hope you are excited to be here as well!~ photo courtesy of 1.bp.blogspot.com

Hi, my name is Renee Skalsky.  This is my 8th year as an assistant with SPED.  I spent most of my summer golfing with my husband, family and friends and I'm still waiting for that "hole in one"!!  My grandkids are the love of my life ~ I really don't have a favorite color and I wear almost every color there is (with the exception of yellow).  I love Chinese food and Sushi and try to treat myself to it once a week....I'm looking forward to working with the staff and students at Bar Nunn and making 2013-14 the best year ever!

Hi, my name is Nicole Elder.  This is my first year at Bar Nunn and I am so happy to be here!  i will be the BEST/RSS.  This year begins my 15th year of teaching!  I have three children ~ two of them will be joining us here at school!  In my free time I love to read, cook, and shop.  This summer was so much fun because I got to spend July visiting my parents at the lake in Michigan!

Hi, my name is Nita Svoboda.  Svoboda means "freedom" in Czech.  I have been an assistant in SPED for 8 years.  This is my first year at Bar Nunn.  I love to read all kinds of books and travel to new places.  My hobbies also include gardening and cooking. I enjoy trying and creating new   recipes.  Someday I would like to operate a Bed & Breakfast.  It would be a fun way to meet interesting people!  My favorite color is Royal Blue.  This summer we went camping and I caught a lot of fish!  I am looking forward to getting to know to know my new friends at Bar Nunn! ``photo courtesy of disneyclips.com

Hi, my name is Mary Jane Fowler.  This will be my 36th year of teaching.  My favorite color is red and I like blue too!  My other favorites are seafood, pretzels and spaghetti!  In my free time I read, paint, cook, and sew.  This summer I went to upstate New York and Cape Cod.  We had a great time at the ocean!

My name is Becky Peterson.  I am the school librarian.  I love to read,  and I love to help kids find books that they love to read!  Some of my favorites are:  READING, popcorn, chocolate, dogs, and READING!  My favorite memory from this summer was volunteering with a dog rescue group to help dogs find good homes.  I will see YOU in the library!

Hello!  My name is Eric Vierkant, and this will by my 2nd year teaching kindergarten.  My favorite food is almost anything that comes off the barbeque, such as steak, chicken, and burgers.  My favorite colors are orange and red.  I love playing softball with some of my good friends during the summer.  If I am not playing softball, my time usually goes to watching the 49ers, Red Sox, Sooners, and Jayhawks.  My favorite memory from this summer was buying my first home!

My name is Meagan Dye and this is my 5th year teaching.  I have taught 4th grade all five years here at Bar nunn!  Some of my favorites in clude the color pink, ice cream, cake, and coffee!  I love to do crafts and travel with my family.  The best part of my summer vacation was spending time with my little boy.

Hello, my name is Marilyn Stevens and I am starting my ninth year as the preschool assistant at Bar Nunn Elementary.  My favorite color varies but I consistently like greens and browns.  In my free time (what's that?) I like to camp, read, and travel especially when it involves anything Disney.  The most exciting thing I did over the summer was take a cruise to Alaska minus the face plant I did in Seattle the day before the cruise.  I'm excited to start a new year and can't wait to meet the new students and see the smiling faces of the returning students!

My name is Randy Ridgeway, and I have been teaching at Bar Nunn for 13 years.  My favorite color is blue, and I enjoy most sports.  I enjoy golfing and bowling and watching the Bronco's and Rockies.  My favorite foods are pork chops, chicken, and most Chinese food.  I enjoy traveling, and have visited Europe and Asia, with plans to go back in the future.  I wish I could get someone to do my yard work.

My name is Hanna Schirlinger and this is my 3rd year teaching.  I have taught all three years here at Bar Nunn!!  Some of my favorite include the colors yellow and green, Disney collectables (especially Mickey Mouse), saltwater aquariums, most foods, and sweet leaf lemon and lime unsweet tea.  The best part of my summer was spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Rene Rickabaugh.  This is my 35th year in education and in Natrona County School District.  As your principal at Bar Nunn, I have been here for 19 years!  Some of my favorithes are the color purple, spaghetti, Cheetos, and sushi.  In my free time I like to watch movies, swim, scrapbook, and play cards.  The best thing I did this summer was spend a week in Yellowstone with good friends!  I am looking forward to a great school year.

Hey there!  My name is Zach Becker, and this is my sixth year teaching third grade.  A few things you might want to know about me are that I love to travel, I enjoy being around animals, and I listen to music all the time!  The highlight of my summer was going to August the Deuce, and Icelandic celebration in North Dakota.  This is going to be a great school year!

Hello, my name is Wendy Jarrard.  This is my fourth year as Bar Nunn's lunch clerk.  I have four children who went to Bar Nunn.  I enjoy spending time with them and reading suspense novels.  I spend most of my time, when I am not in school, working on the ranch that our family lives on.  My favorite part about the ranch is getting to see the babies in the Spring.

Hi, my name is Nikki Ruzick.  This will be my third year working at Bar Nunn.  My favorite color is orange and my favorite snack food is popcorn with pickled jalapenos.  One thing that I enjoy to do is to read; this summer I read 9 books!  At the beginning of August my family and I drove through Glacier National Park on our way to Crystal Lake where we went turtle hunting!  We let all the turtles go, much to my kids' dismay!

Hi, my name is Geri Galles.  I have been teaching school for 28 years.  I love different shades of blue, green, and red.  Mexican dishes, chips and dip, cherries, and chocolate are some of my favorite foods.  Reading, gardening, and spending time with my grandkids and friends keep me busy.  Touring San Francisco, Redwood forests, and vineyards was a wonderful way to start the summer.

Hi!  My name is Vicke Owens.  I have been at Bar Nunn School for 19 years and always enjoy seeing all the familiar faces returning each year!  I love to read, work outside in my yard and getting physical exercise.  My favorite foods are lobster, chocolate and deep dish pizza.  I like most any pastel color and my favorite movie is Christmas Vacation.  This summer I enjoyed lots of family gatherings!

Hi!  My name is DeAnn Russell, and I teach 4th grade.  I am beginning my 24th year of teaching, 15 of which have been at Bar Nunn.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades, as well as having been an Instructional Facilitator and even assistant principal!  My favorite color is green and I collect frogs.  I enjoy reading, motorcycle riding, and spending time with my family.  This summer I spend the last week of July in Deadwood golfing, riding motorcycles, and contributing to the local economy.

My name is Robin Lake and this is my 16th year at Bar Nunn.  I work in the R.S.S. classroom.  I have four dogs and two grandbabies.  My favorite color is pink and my favorite car is the Camaro.  I love to take pictures and scrapbook.  My favorite part of  summer was hanging with the family and taking naps.

Hi, my name is Kari McIntyre.  This is my 6th year at Bar Nunn.  Some of my favorites are: the color blue, pizza, seafood, and rib-eye steaks.  I also like to go hunting, fishing, ride ATV's, and read.  This summer I spend a week at Brooks Lake by Dubois.  We saw a lot of Grizzly Bears.

Hi, my name is Gina Hendricks.  I have been working at Bar Nunn for 15 years.  My favorite color is Maroon.  My favorite food is chicken and homemade noodles.  Some of my hobbies are gardening, working in my yard, and growing indoor plants.  I enjoyed spending time with my 4 grandchildren this summer.

Hi, my name is Kathy Heuer.  This is my 15th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist.  My favorite colors are purple and blue.  I love to eat burritos and drink fruit smoothies.  I enjoy scrapbooking, bike riding with my two children and I am learning to quilt.  This summer I went camping and hiking in Spearfish Canyon in South Dakota!

Hi!  I am Brenda Flynn.  I have been at Bar Nunn School for 15 years.  My husband is Kevin and we have two children in college.  Justin is 23 and is attending North Dakota State University and Megan is 18 and is going to Casper College this fall.  This summer we planted a tremendous garden and now I am enjoying wonderful veggies.

Hi!  My name is Sheryl Henderson. I am one of the many support staff that is running around our building.  This will be my 18th year of working with students of all age groups at Bar Nunn.  My favorite color is blue.  I enjoy about any kind of food.  My favorite hobby is gardening and reading when I have a chance.  This summer I enjoyed working in my garden and spending time with my son and 7 grandchildren.

Hi, I'm Becky Murray.  I have been teaching for six years here at Bar Nunn.  The first four years I taught fifth and sixth grade, but last year I decided to teach second grade and I love it!!  Some of my favorite things are Minions, the color blue, Dr. Pepper, and the fall season.  When I have the extra time, I love to read, camp, hunt, and fish.  I really want to learn how to fly fish.  An exciting part of my summer was remodeling my daughter's bedroom.

Hi, my name is Lenay Appleton.  This is my 8th year teaching.  I have taught 3rd grade, kindergarten, and this is my second year teaching 1st grade.  My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is pizza.  In my free time, I like to read and spend time with my family.  This summer I went to Overland, Kansas to visit my sister.

My name is Kathy Carr.  This is my first year at Bar Nunn Elementary, and I am excited to serve you as your new Office Manager!  I grew up in Oklahoma (go OSU Cowboys!), lived many years in Colorado, and moved to Casper 6 years ago.  Some of my favorite things are fresh cut flowers, really good coffee, and inspirational novels and movies.  In my free time, I enjoy going to my three amazing teenagers' events, sitting by a campfire, or spending time outdoors ~ especially the mountains!  This summer, I enjoyed hiking "down" to the beautiful Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe.
